Catching trout gotten harder?
sure seems that way over the last several years....
have to work a lot harder, move around constantly, try all kinds of baits, plastics, etc. only real luck ive had is mostly in the fall/winter and usually in a river or creek.
this weekend was no exception.
still love being on the water, soaking ...

Re: Find a spring, catch a mess of mullet
Seems a Man just could sell his fish if he wanted to ....without the "man" getting involved.
Im guessing Jesus wouldnt have been able to feed the multitudes today (Matthew 14). The "regulations" wouldnt have allowed it.

Re: Are fishing regulations and enforcement, out of control?
Well...yeah sure...if you havent broken just one of the dizzy-ing array of fishing regs, boat regs, boat trailer regs, license regs, snorkeling regs, scalloping regs,
and whatever other regs I may have missed.
You dont have anything to worry about.
NO, I haven't received a ticket lately ...

Are fishing regulations and enforcement, out of control?
I think they are.
It seems more about writing tickets and collecting fines....than protecting any fish or wildlife.

Re: Whats happened to trout fishing?
Personally, I find it hard to believe that recreational fishermen have contributed to the supposed decline in Trout.
Something else going on. Im not sure what it is...

Re: Whats happened to trout fishing?
I love to fish and catch trout and would hate to see limits lowered even further....but something is amiss. And it seems to be getting worse.
