79 glascraf 18 with a 1998 Evinrude 150. Motor runs great. I have a new trolling motor to go with it. Has a fishfindee/gps and a decent radio. I’m thinking about taking a trip out to k tower. I’ve heard that is one of the better to fish. Any suggestions on fishing out there. Only fish inshore but with a newer reliable motor I’d like to make a trip into deep water. All advice would be great!

Does anyone have a place that usually keeps chum blocks in stock around Tallahassee? Everytime I try Walmart of westmarine they never have any. I'm not sure if Jerry's before I head out. Thanks!!

It ended up not working on my boat. Located in Tallahassee but fish the coast quite a bit. Had it on the boat a week so it's pretty much new. Seeing if any one can use it before I return it. In that picture it is as low as it can go on the plate. I'm gonna remove it and see if it gets up how it should or if I need to find out what's wrong with the motor.

Thanks for the help I will have to pull the plate off! So it was about the right height before the plate? That is the lowest it can go on the plate.

Ive got a 79 glascraf 18 with a 86 Johnson 90. It has never hopped up on plane but it got up eventually no matter the weight. I installed a fixed jack plate (4in up, 4 in back) to try and get the height of the motor right on the boat and now if I have any more of a load then just me it will not get ...

Where's the best place to catch live bait around st marks? Any place they usually can be found?

They are for the hull to drain. I guess the rubber flap for the scupper valve got ripped off at some point and I haven't replaced them just yet. Sits high enough out of the water no water comes in
