11/23/2018 launched kayak 11AM at primitive ramp Fishbone Creek (Dixie County, FL). Fished north of the ramp until 4PM.
Water temp 61F. "Dirty". High tidal coefficient (approaching full moon phase) provided strong current. High tide 2PM. Depth varied from nearly 0 to up to 8'+.

The kayaks are in the channel (perhaps they could/should be elsewhere so as not to impede any motorized vessels).
The boat is in the channel. I'm assuming the depth of the channel is adequate enough for the boat to navigate at a reduced rate of speed.

Suggestions for the future:
1. clearly state ALL the tournament rules in print and make them available to all potential participants prior to entry.

By law it is illegal to operate a vessel in a manner to interfere with safe navigation, padding kayaks down the channel would fall into that category.
