Cranfield,
It is an optical illusion. He was 29+ inches. Don't forget that I am a big old boy at 6'3" and 230#, and I was not holding him out for the camera. Instead, I was trying my best to hold on and not drop him or kill him. ;)

Panacea, 5/28/05-6/5/05

Well, ya'll already know that Walden showed me the hot spots for the trout last Sunday, the 29th... that was the only decent trip, as the wind blew, the rains fell, and I had a hard time mastering the hard (non-grassy) bottom. We did manage a few keeper trout, managed to fish on Monday afternoon, Th...

Thanks for the trip, Walden. Unfortunately, that was the best news of the week, as you know the wind howled and it rained almost every day. Those must have been Wevans' trained pet trout, cause it was some of the only ones that I managed there all week... Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sa...

About halfway between Keaton and nine-mile bank. I heard you and Short Strike on the radio, and actually started off up at Adams...

Keaton 3/19

Hit the water about 8 AM, and had to hunt hard, but found 'em about 12:45. 7 keepers, 15.5-21" south of Dog Head in 5.5' of water. For a minute or two, it was fast and furious, but shut off as quickly as it started when a family of dolphin showed up. Water temp hit a high of 62.8* on the way in...

http://www.boat-ed.com/fl/course/p3-3_encounteringothers.htm Operating in Narrow Channels A vessel in a narrow channel must keep as far to the edge of the channel on the vessel’s starboard side as is safe and practical. If you are operating a power-driven vessel heading upstream (against the direc...

Except in the event of an emergency, it is unlawful for any person to anchor or operate a vessel in a manner that will unreasonably interfere with the navigation of other vessels. Seems like that would indicate it to be against the law... (along with the fact that the FWC officer chose to warn agai...

Now, mj... I wasn't calling any names. I was more concerned than anything, cause I sure wouldn't want to be sitting there, particularly about that other boat you are referring to. This topic is kinda like that sailboat topic on the other forum... it can tick a lot of people off, and that's not my in...

Re: Where to get a boat loan?

And who do you guys insure your boats with? I am a State Farm guy for all my insurance needs but I have heard they don't do boats or they don't offer the best policies for boats. My insurance is with state farm, and NOONE can touch the rates... and believe me, I have shopped. For financing, check y...
