Re: Lowrance Touch Screen Issues?
I've got an Elite 9-Ti that I've had a lot of touchscreen issues with over the years as well... In the end I finally figured out that every time there's been a problem it's almost always because the ground connection had loosened. Might check into that. Was a big headache for a long time for me.

Been using it for probably a decade to convert and export my spreadsheet of ~10,000 waypoints to Lowrance, Humminbird, Garmin, etc formats.

Well, harmless in the sense that you're not going to be envenomated by touching them, as you might by a lionfish. There's a whole lot of fish whose mouths I wouldn't recommended sticking your finger in.

Re: Smooth Puffers
As someone who spends 90% of my time on the water, in the water spearfishing, I can attest that puffers are a normal and regular part of the ecosystem. I haven't noticed any obvious change in their prevalence in the last 10 or 15 years. There must just be something about the water temps or nutrient ...

Re: Tips for Cobia Fishing (New to Big Bend Area)
Easiest way to catch cobia around here is definitely to anchor up somewhere and fish for something else. When you see the cobia show up and swim by the boat jump in and shoot 'em with a speargun.

That literal claim has been made by more than one poster, across multiple threads, including earlier in this one. People have gone crazy.Fish Masterson wrote: Who made these numerous claims that it's a constitutional right to have access to a boat ramp? I guess i missed those.

Re: Did anyone from GA get told to go home this weekend?
Access to a boat ramp is not a "constitutional right" as has been claimed numerous times here over the past few weeks. Kind of hilarious that actually needs to be said out loud.
Whether or not there is discrimination happening with regards to who is or is not being allowed to utilize ramps by some ...

No problem. Like I said, I didn't know anything about any of this when I started my rewire. Now it all makes perfect sense. Just paying it forward!

+VE/-VE is just shorthand for "Positive"/"Negative".
+VE (Battery) are your positive wires going from your panel directly to the battery. The red rectangles on there labeled 15A are the size of the breakers/fuses required to be inline on each of those wires for your panel (I think you said these ...

Definitely. I bought all my marine wire and terminal hardware through this place, one of the most highly recommended on many of the boating forums:
