Re: Tailor

Ron Dixon at Al Dixon’s in downtown Thomasville. He’s an avid salt water fisherman in this area as well.

Free Grill - No longer available

I have a Holland Grill that is about 12 years old that I’ll give away for whoever wants it. Still works good. Cooks fairly slow. Whoever can pick it up first can have it. I Upgraded to a new pellet grill. Located in Thomasville. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210811/aa0665baf8c684b8e61a28937dfc4...

Re: Good areas for a novice "captain"

Hire a guide/captain to go out with you in your boat to show you the basics. Always good to have someone knowledgeable show you first hand. Save your tracks on those trips on your chart plotter or Navionics app for future reference.

I’m biased, but I think the Robalo 246 Cayman is the perfect combination for kids/family/offshore/inshore/etc.

Re: February 6, 2021 Tournament - St Marks

Thanks for letting us all know how it went. Glad people were able to get out and congratulations to those who had success. I enjoy reading about the tournaments even though I am nowhere near the skill level to compete. Good luck going forward. Hearing about things restarting gives hope things are r...

Stolen Gator

Someone decided they needed my John Deere Gator more than me. They pushed it out of my garage & drove off (I’m guessing using a universal key) last Monday night around 10pm. Pretty ballsy . . . . And I’d sure like to kick those same balls. Be on the lookout. I’ve got some leads and there’s a cha...

Re: WTB Pontoon

Bump . . . . still looking.

There’s probably a few people out there who jumped on the boat buying bandwagon (alliteration intended) over the past few months who now regret the decision!

WTB Pontoon

Looking to buy a new or gently used pontoon for the lake. I need something that can accommodate several people for cruising, yet still have enough get up & go to pull kids skiing. Any suggestions or leads? Thanks!

Re: Tips for Cobia Fishing (New to Big Bend Area)

I use a Sabiki rig to catch bait close to the area I plan on fishing. Then free-line (or light-weight) out around some structure. Artificial eels have also worked for me. You can sometimes find them hanging out with large Eagle Rays around some of the reefs. If you spot those large rays, cast around...

Re: St marks electronics guy

I drove down to St. Marks from Thomasville one day to fish. I forgot I’d taken my receiver hitch off the truck. With no way to hook to my boat, John let me borrow his B&W Tow&Stow so I could launch my boat. Standup guy. . . . and I now own my very own Tow&Stow. Sent from my iPhone using ...
