Re: Scalloping......
I was thinking about that today. There hasn't been a lot of rain so there should be a high amount of salinty in the waters.
Last time that happend was around 3 years ago, and scalloping around St Marks was pretty good.

Re: Where is best place to buy sunglasses?
You don't have to go out and buy big ticket sunglasses. I have a pair from West Marine that were
around 60 bucks that works just as good as some 150 dollar pair from Costa.

Re: Carabelle 6/4/2011
We caught a total of 17 keepers for the whole day, not including numerous blues and lady fish.
We had ice on them, but I should have bought some more bags and just shoved them inside lol.

Carabelle 6/4/2011
Mook and I made last minute decision to head to Carabelle and fish the tournament. We first headed to a a flat that Mook saw, which ended up paying off big time for us. We got non stop action from trout to via topwater. We got numerous nice keepers at this spot, which after a hours ended up dying, s...

Mook and I were thinking about doing this tournament. Is it ok if one of us registers for the club while we're down there?
If not that's ok and we will just go to the next tournament.

Deep Water Trout
How do you guys look for deep water trout? Now, when I say deep water trout I mean from 5 to 8 feet. I know this time of the year, shallow water is pretty warm, and trout tend to like to go to deeper water some mainly because of the cool water, and or close to river where freshwater is gushing in. D...

Re: Whatcha think about him now :-)
I understand private industry just fine. But the state is wasting millions of dollars in tax payer money, by moving most IT infrastructure to SSRC as well as constant support. I've seen those people make up charges out of the blue to charge people with. All this Infrastructure was working fine, with...

Re: Whatcha think about him now :-)
I can't see how it would be possible for them to operate on a smaller budget. It would be cheaper to just pay state IT workers a lot more so the good ones don't leave. You also have to understand that SSRC will be housing an insane amount of switches, routers, and servers. So far with dealing with t...

Re: Whatcha think about him now :-)
"Correct me if I'm wrong but that would be whomever signed the contracts problem, not SSRC. They're in this to make money anyway they can & it's not their fault somebody missed the contract talks" Well for starters it's wasting taxpapers money paying for services that don't need to be ...

Re: Whatcha think about him now :-)
Well, most state workers don't like Gov Scott, mainly for one of several reasons. State workers have not gotten a raise in who knows how many years, and with inflation going up, it's basically a pay cut. On top of that, he is basically taking money out of my salary and forcing me to put that into a ...

St Marks 5/28/2011
Mook and I got up early to catch the early tidal pattern. We headed somewhere east of the lighthouse and were able to get Trout at a regular pace for most of the day. We got mostly keepers in the 16 to 17 range, a few 18 I think, I also got a nice fat 21 inch Trout. We also had some pretty big blowu...
