cant say I have had it in HEAVY chop, but have had it in moderate chop and some wind. handles the chop fine and keeps me dry. The wind will push you around. I just added a rudder, but have not tried it yet with the rudder on. Hooked the rudder to the pedals so I can move it as needed... easy mod. So ...

I've fished there.. don't think they allow camping down by the river at Sprewell Bluff. A couple of years ago the county opened a campground and store at the top of the ridge where you pay to get into the park. I think they have about 8 RV sites and a few cabins. Its a beautiful place.

I often take my kayak out at Yates Creek.. haven't been in about 2 months but getting the itch to go, just need a little warm weather. So, I know there are others out there that kayak fish in this area, but I don't see much activity on this forum from fellow kayakers. I fish out of a Bonafide SS127 ...
