Re: The BP oil rig

Well I really don't know what Bush did, as he did very little and probably didn't blow up the levee. And no, you cant make asphalt with solor panels and wind mills. However, BIG OIL has us believing we need to drill off shore when there is much more oil on shore, right in our back yards, not to ment...

OIL IN THE GULF

Am I worried? You bet I am. I'm worried that our fishing grounds will be covered with oil. That the oyster beds that attract the Red Fish I catch will be covered with oil. I'm worried that our worst nightmares are just around the corner. Most of us have been opposed to off shore drilling. Now those ...

Re: Stolen Tackle

Here is an idea that might work to get your stuff back. It probably was kids, out late with nothing to do. They will continue to be out late crusing, heading to circle K to play loud music and drink beer. They probably live near by or pass by often. Park your truck in the street, half up on the curb...

I really thought ET was coming!

I took this last week with my phone camera while I sat enjoying a cigar and watching several CTs with live bait.
When I saw this magnficent sky I poured another drink of rum and made a toast.

Thought I'd share this Oyster Bay sky with you.

If you look you'll find them. Maybe.

Last week, we were looking for trout and some clear water. We were fishing between Oyster Bay and Dickerson Bay. I finally as a last resort went to a shoal I know which is only about three ft. (nice grass), at medium/high tide, and about a mile or more off shore and there they were. In two feet of w...

Re: Important Information Needed!!

Re; Accepting money from people aboard your boat. They are correct. An individual cannot accept money for gas or bait etc; unless he a licensed Captain. However, as I was told in conversation by an officer of FWC last week, they don't check on wether it's a charter, or who is paying who. That's lef...

MOTOR FOUND...THANKS

I'm looking for a good used outboard to push a 12' jon boat for shallow water fishing and floundering. A short shaft motor.

I need one that starts real easy 'cause I'm old and runs good 'cause I'm fat.

So, if you know of one or have one please let me know.

Thanks,

Cap'n Charlie
