St James 8/23
Good morning everyone, Back in Tallahassee with online school means as much fishing as possible for me. Went down to the St James area yesterday at the end of the falling tide (didn't even check them, wanted to go that badly) and knew it was going to be a good day when on my first cast a 20' red des...

Re: 2020 Fishing Goals
1. No matter what get on the water more than last year.
2. Catch a tarpon in our area (keys, Pine Island Sound excluded)

Carrabelle River Fishing 1/16-1/18
Howdy, I fished the Carrabelle River outgoing tide yesterday with nice warm weather. On cut mullet I had nothing but catfish, but they kept me busy and got a few big ones. There were reds tailing across the river(had me drooling at the mouth) I just had no access to them being land based at the mome...

Hey All, Got a few hours in before sun came up this morning as I had to get back to a class, once the sun came up I decided to do a little exploring. Didn't have the time, but drove up the Carrabelle (New) River, how's the fishing up on the river? Heat up as the water cools down? Appreciate it, JSS

Carrabelle 10/12-13
Over the weekend got my father and girlfriend down to the coast. Weather was beautiful with mild winds out of the south. On the 12th only fished about 4 hours on the outgoing tide in the afternoon. This produced one hooked redfish, one spinner shark, and multiple large southern stingrays. On the 13t...

St Marks or St Teresa Wade fishing
I'm a FSU student with some experience wading the Port Saint Joe area. I would love to bend the rod this weekend without driving out there. For someone relatively new to the local area I would love some advice on St Teresa vs St Marks on where I should go try to catch some reds. Thanks!

Apalachicola Shore Fishing
Hey there everyone,
Student in Tallahassee and will be in Apalachicola for the weekend. Without a boat, but have a castable trout rod, and larger surf rod along with tackle on me. I can pick up shrimp as well. Any recommendations for the fishing this weekend?
Thanks!!
