Agree with both of you on the structure. I have caught 1 or 2 a little further south down the coast up against an oyster bar at high tide while I was fishing for redfish as well. 90% of my experience with them though are on crab traps

Mainly around the islands, however we went up to a few spots towards the preachers hole area but not quite that far and did very well.

You are lucky to have acess to a dock that holds fish. That is not always the case. I would strongly recomend you make sure not to post a picture that allows others to identify that particular dock or you might (will) have unwanted competition for your pet redfish.

Sorry for the late reply, hopefully you have caught some jacks by now. Not a fly guy and sounds cliche but I typically find jacks with the birds. Typically normally catch them when they are schooled up and they're crushing on bait,

All fish were between 17 and the largest one was 27 or so. Looking forward to a 30 incher!

I had good success with the redfish on the 28th. Wind was howling from the southwest and I fished most of an outgoing tide while I caught some pinfish on the dead high tide. Caught 6 or 7 reds on a combination of live pinfish, and cut ladyfish. Also caught an undersized black ...
