Re: Best Place to Buy Live Crawfish
Look up Crawfish Man on Facebook. I believe he comes from Mobile and delivers over here a couple times a week. He will meet you at a location on the Southside of Tallahassee and his crawfish are always good.

Re: St Marks water clarity since rains
I fished West of the lighthouse on Friday and was really surprised how much it had cleared up in the last week. We could easily see the bottom in 6 foot of water.

We went out also. We caught a few trout around the bars ( no reds). Ended up in 4 foot of water to the West and caught 6 nice keeper trout between 16 and 18 inches. The water was really dark and its temp was somewhere around 70. With the temp that high, trout should be heading on to the flats pretty ...

This is one of my favorite places to go and I agree with the trash issue. I always pick up as much trash as I can when I am there. My 3 year old grandson also loves it and asks every day to go there. We have one rule for him though, he must pick up a bag full of garbage before he is allowed to fish ...

We were out Sunday also. We found trout holding under a school of ladyfish and could have stayed and caught quite a few. We opted to run offshore because of the fog and the other 5 or so boats fishing the same school. We ended up with a cooler full of rock bass and a couple nice trout.

Re: Weird Fishing Technique that Works
I've read about this before but they boiled the noodles in crab boil which didn't make sense because it isn't a natural taste. Did you use regular water or season them with something? I bet fish oil would work pretty good.

Re: St Marks weekend -- tough fishing
We went to the West flats Saturday and Sunday with a boatload of kids. Throwing gulp and jigs produced a few small trout and a couple keepers. Despite the wind, I threw a topwater and had some really nice trout blow up on it but they weren't aggressive at all. Total tally for the weekend, 5 trout ...

You could try to call Dewayne @ Rip A Lip charters down there. He has a camper that he lets his fishermen stay in. If its available he may rent it to you.

I got mine weighed at the landfill on the parkway. I think Marpan is the closest you will find to St Marks.
