Re: what's your Favorite boat food?
Homemade smoked fish dip with crackers is almost always a staple on board and often times we’ve got a Jefferson County watermelon rolling around in the icebox. Hard to beat an icy melon in those scorching summer months.

Re: Offshore Carrabelle Saturday
I try to get out there for a nighttime snapper trip each year, like you said, the full moons are the best times. Pick any of the alphabet towers and take a pile of shrimp, sure to have a blast. We had them on the surface yesterday, frenzy mode! Made for a good time.

Offshore Carrabelle Saturday
Went out yesterday morning to relatively smooth seas, a few scattered storms around. Watched as all spout form and then dissipate within about 10 minutes. Water clarity was phenomenal, best we’ve seen it all year. My daughter caught her best cobia, a 25 pounder. Also boated a nice gag and some ...

Re: Fishing out of Ocklocknee Bay
Way to go. Love me some Beeliners, you catch those on squid? That’s one of my favorite areas to fish, always seem to find a new number out there.

Re: Smooth Puffers
Do not attempt to eat a smooth puffer unless you absolutely know how to clean it. This fish can kill you, they have a neurotoxin in them, there is a very precise way to cut them at their spine and you peel out their “back straps”. Do not risk it, I’ve eaten it once, cleaned by my father In law, ex ...

Re: Franklin County Ramps
You guys crack me up, do you actually read what your writing? Your self-entitled, disrespectful, millennial syndrome rants are the reason why they’ve chosen to take these steps.

Re: Franklin County Reconsidering the Closure of Boat Ramps?
I personally would like to see the law enforcement hang around the ramps in the Carrabelle River, I am a Florida resident and a Carrabelle homeowner. Nothing worse than having my boat tied up to the dock and have some disrespectful boater not understanding what a “no wake” zone is.
