Nope. Closest thing I did to fishing was trying to catch a bream on the Ochlocknee above Lake Talquin. Skunked other than a chunky 2.5 lb bass.

Guide for Steinhatchee or Keaton

Anybody got a recommendation on a guide for the Steinhatchee or Keaton area?

Already have Pat McGriff booked for one day soon, but he is busy the day I need (4/29). Afraid everyone worth his salt will already be booked then. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Like Mudduckker said....lotsa hunters and less and less huntable water. Leads to bad etiquette. Got one woodie at Iamonia the one time I went there, was skunked at Jackson once. Tough all over. Heard Seminole had lotta cans and redheads? I havent fished but once back in March (too cold) but I hitch ...

Hey Hit-n-Miss -- Long time no talk to. Sorry your fishing was frustrating this week -- how was your duck season? I got quite a few teal at PCS shooting over your old decoys, but no ringers at all. (Not that teal-for ringers is a bad trade.)

Clarification

I was the catcher and measurer of the trout in question. I used the Igloo cooler's ruler and it was over 15" according to it, and that is a fact. Actually it was STILL 15" at the weigh in, according to that same FAULTY tool. So please go easy on Sir Reel, he really was just a bystander. On...

Hey, Sir Reel, I thought I was going to fish with you and RodBow. Who is this other party with extensive Saltwater Tournament experience?

RodBow - do you know who?

St Marks

Thanks, Sir Reel, for a great trip - from all 3 generations of Vinsons. As always a great host.

Ps. RHT Fish - yes, the Vinson Center at UGa is named for Congressman 'Uncle Carl' Vinson, who was in fact my dad's uncle. We are both named for him also.

I had the pleasure of attending Sir Reel's birthday bash, and was given the job of keeping him busy till 6PM that Fri so the "surprize party" could gather. Not that you don't know this about him, but the ever-helpful Bud was easily pulled in to a plea for help to "evaluate a shotgun&q...

You can always count on Sir Reel for a good story. And some of this one even seems to be true. Not bad for a couple of Chrome Domes.

That friend Sir Reel mentioned is ME and I am curious if you know what species of duck you were seeing in good numbers.
