Re: ideas on removing old prop??????

Hey old buddy, I have seen several props removed at the local marina by heating the prop with a butane torch allowing it to expand and then tapping it off.
Good Luck,
Steve

I recommend considering the Strike King 3X jigs. Last time out I caught 20+ trout on one Jig. Pinfish can't bite the tail off and all fish seem to love them. I also caught 14 Snook on the same gig a month later in SW fl. Finally had to change to a new one when a blow fish cut the tail short. They no...

Econfina 9/11-14

Ross Thomas and I fished all day Friday and Sat. and 4 hours on Sun. Beautiful weather all weekend except for fog on Sat. Morn. Friday we had a good day, catching a nice limit of trout to 28". Most on live pin fish. The pins were not easy to catch, and they were either tiny or as big as your ha...

Most any grassy point/cut with high moving water is likely to have a red or two around. Top water, grub or spinnerbait will work. Good luck.

Econfina 6/9/03

Just back from a few days on the coast. Reports a little late but might be of interest to some. On monday the 6th got out about 8AM, went west a mile or two started out fishing in 5-6 feet. Tons of piled up grass from the recent rainy weekend. Live bait was the only thing they seemed to want. Pins o...

TF, I'm from the Atlanta area so we don't get down there to often, but I have an 18' South Seas CC. I'll holler the next time we're coming that way. Good fishing to you!

We had similar luck on Friday and Sat. Easy trout limit on friday, lots of rocks on Sat. Fished mainly between the racks in the 3-5 foot area. Best luck on trout with live pins, bass would take most anything :D !

Good Post. We're planning on fishing the Econfina the 25-28th, hoping the early morning high tide will put some reds up shallow. I'm surprised the fish haven't started to come in shallow yet. Maybe by next weekend.
Good fishing to you!

Ross Thomas and I started out at 6:30 AM on Thursday, headed toward the Aucilla. Took advantage of high tide and light winds to fish grassy points with top water plugs. Numerous short strikes, finally landed one 24" Red and a Trout 19". About 9:30 we headed towards the bird racks and fishe...
