The Wife is on a Mercy Mission

So I will be by myself for a week. Think I will go to the Sportsman lodge for about four days. I will take my little 14 footer/35 HP so I can not go too far. Any ideas where I should fish and what I should fish for will be appreciated. :-?

Re: Lake Bradford slow but big

Years ago I went to college in Tampa. Every free moment I was on the Hillsborough river big bass fishing with shiners. Caught a twelve pounder one day. I immediately took her back to the fish camp and put her in the camp's large live tank. Lou, the owner, asked me what I was going to do with her. &q...

My new (old) boat

A year or so ago I posted my "new" boat. The world's ugliest 1959 Herters Quebec. Wevens corectly guessed that I had bought it in Crawfordville for the princely sum of about $200.00 bucks. After a years work which included all new wood on the inside, many hours refiberglassing both the bot...

Re: Good Saturday Morning

For an upcoming aniversary they wife said she wanted something that went from zero to 150 in three seconds and was bright and shiney. I bought her a set of scales. Then the fight started.

Re: WANTED -- 30 HP Nissan Motor Mount

Hi---If the motor is relatively old (1995 or older) go to the AOMCI and post a request. It is no cost and these guys know their stuff. (Antique Outboard Motor Club Inc.). Maybe this will help.

Re: Good Sunday Morning

No complaints here. Got plenty of water to fish. Almost five inches east of Tifton yesterday. Coming in from Florida last night had to detour because of washed out bridges. Dont have to wash the car for a few days.

Re: BIG Crappie

Go to crappie.com and look at the Georgia forum. Am quite sure it has been photoshopped. One of the crappie.com forum members lives on Lake Blackshear and has not heard about it locally.
