That was my first "night" trip at lanark. I stayed near the chanel marker behind ho-hum and worked the channel, even set up a short drift and almost found myself in the middle of the bay. (It's a little scary in a canoe) I would have put in near the Lab, but the developers posted "no ...

Friday Lanark

After getting some rest from the moonlight fishing the night before, me and my old fishing buddy put the Cobia in at the ramp around 10:30am. By the looks of all the empty boat trailers there were plenty of folks already on the water ahead of us. We started fishing using silver phantoms under a C/T....

I had to drag the boat 25 yards to reach the water. I watched the moon rise while trying unsuccessfully to catch some pin fish for bait. Without p...

I would'nt call it success because I attracted a bunch of sharks down by the lighthouse. Last week, while the wifee was out of town, so I put 4-5 LY's in the food processor and turned them into a peanutbutter like paste. I then put the paste in a 20oz plastic bottle and capped it of with the cap. Wh...

Way to go Banshee-

I am heading down there tonight to fish from my canoe in the bay off Lanark. I will be fishing (under the full moon) with pinfish under a CT, and throwing a BIG 4 1/2" Chugbug. Sound Fun?

I can only guess that the city of Eastpoint has a very limited tax base which is inhibiting them from moving quickly. The transformation of the old bridge will be costly. If I had been negotiating the deal for the new bridge, I would have included the renovation work to convert the old bridge to a p...

I took rodbows advice and sent Captain John an email requesting information about opening the old SGI bridg for public fishing. Here is what Captain John had to say... "I am working with the county to operate it for them. There are plenty of details to hash and it is just now becoming a pressin...

Sometimes you do everthing right, and conditions are perfect, but the fish

are off on vacation somewhere.... :-?

Look at the bright side, you had a chance to fish while we all were sleeping.
