Re: Is this worth fixing or selling?
The GT21 transducer has traditional 2D and down view only. Would need a different transducer that includes side view for the striker to display SV.

Re: Cape horn 27xs 2017
I have. 2002 22’ Bay Cape Horn, it’s a tank, it will outlast me and probably my children. I added a radio in the console, cutting the hole took 3 blades, the fiberglass was approx 3/8 to 1/2” thick. Cape Horns have gotten better since in my opinion. My boat is super strong but also utilitarian, not ...

Man, if the Armadillo event was on video it would have been epic, Futch should probably just wear a GoPro camera all the time.

Re: Trailer hub recommendation
The problem you have is that basically any hub will be fine but you can’t really change the greasing option as it’s built into your spindle. That system seems ok but I like the other type of spindle where the grease goes through the middle of the spindle into the back of the hub and then pushes back...

Re: CCA Big Bend Chapter On-line Auction
You need to talk to ever is in charge of the auction that if they want more bids they need better descriptions on the item’s pages. Several rods and other items have no description of size and weight or even spinning or casting if the picture is not wide enough to see the whole rod. They have a Powe...

Re: Scalloping out of Apalachicola
I know people scallop around the Lanark area, don’t know if their are any reports from the area, but any closer than Carrabelle and I don’t think you will have much luck.

Re: Pilchards in Panacea?
That’s definitely true, naming of fish is so confusing due to local names as you mentioned. He was asking if some people call pilchards or scaled sardines “LYs” and they do, around here. But as you say they also call gulf menhaden LYs or alewives too. Yep, what’s called Bonita around here are actual...

Re: Pilchards in Panacea?
Do some call these LY's, alewives? Nope, those are Gulf menhaden. Also called bunker and pogy. Actually what is referred to LY’s on the Florida panhandle is a scaled sardine. http://www.gulfshorespierfishing.com/f27/scaled-sardine-%3D-l-y-16660/ Also referred to Pilchards and white bait: https://en...

Are they still limiting boats to only ones who can park in parking spots? Are we’re they parked on the side of the road?

Re: St MARK’S Friday 6/17
More than likely you had bluefish in the area of that trout. We got into some trout one time and all of a sudden everyone we reeled in was only half there, then we caught a bluefish, made sense then. They are very aggressive when feeding.

Re: Trailer Weight
Can you use the GVWR minus the Maximum Capacity of the trailer to give you the trailer weight. It should be on the manufacturer’s plate on the trailer.

Re: Strange Evinrude News
I’m not surprised, I think they spend a large amount of money on research and development and they have less than 4% market share, that’s not sustainable.
