grouper closure
For some reason I have it in my head that grouper season is closed from Feb 15 to Mar 15. But I see no signs of it on the standard fishing regulations summary. Please tell me I'm off base, I want to go out this weekend!

Update: here's part of the haul... already ate that trigger.. mmm good! Some grouper is going on the grill tonight. BTW the Red was the best fighting fish of the day...

Put in at Carrabelle at 8:00 am after running down from Tallahassee with 3 good buddies. Low tide was 5:35, hi tide 12:30 (approx).. We ran out SSE of DI to about 60 feet of water into about 2-4 ft seas. Fished for a while on grassy bottom and caught a pile of sand perch (squirrelfish?) for bait but ...

put in at Coe's Landing about 6pm, on the water til 9:30... caught a couple small largemouth on topwater. Nothing to speak of.
