I fished Lanark to Turkey Pt. about three weeks ago. Did OK on the trout but it was real windy . I have not heard much from that area lately. Most of our keepers came from behind Lanark Reef.

Well we tried it and what a beautiful day, all but the wind. I can't find a good reason for that much wind unless you own a sail boat. aqua, I've never had any luck on that boat if your talking about the "One More Time". Granted I have not fished it a bunch. I've marked fish but have not caught much there.

I have a 168 sounder and have been well pleased with it for 2+ years now. I don't have much room but if I did, two full screens would be nice.

Fishbites works great for the kids and ladies too. Using them I don't have to stop fishing to bait my daughters line, she does it.

I guess the main thing at a young age is to make it fun. Keep the trip short and active. Even if the fish are biting my 6 yr. old gets bored. During the summer we will make a trip to a beach so they can play for a while. My 9 yr. old can last a little longer and as she gets older our trips will get ...
