Karst said YAWED to the left!!! :smt005 :smt005 :smt005 So it's an aircraft term, and maybe I bastardized it into a verb -- BB, you got a better nautical one? The three critical flight dynamics parameters are rotations in three dimensions around the vehicle's coordinate system origin, the center of...

Just take them off before you back into water. Magnets work good when you only have one trailer tag :-D (or maybe...

Canoe towing basics

My wife and some visiting friends decided they wanted to drift down the Suwannee in our 16ft. aluminum canoe and asked would I tow them upriver a few miles instead of loading the canoe into the back of the pickup. So we loaded up the canoe with cooler, radio, life jackets, paddles, etc. and hooked u...

Get the LED kit from Wal-Mart. its about 40-50 bucks but we have had no problems in 3 years. LEDs are the best solution - they are problem free, brighter, and all around a whole lot cooler looking   - but also alot more expensive for the same basic function. Depends on your budget...

This is probably less of a big deal than you think. You mainly need to get waterproof trailer lights and they are not expensive. I don't know that brands are very important here. Try going to WestMarine.com and type in "trailer lights" in the search box. There were lots of choice...

While it is not worth me fighting this for the month or so I have left here at work, for those of you who will continue to have t...

I have a 36" Sharp tube and a 32" Panasonic tube. Both are in good shape but are in storage right now. I am in the process of moving down to Fla. from Atlanta, and consolidating two houses into one. :hammer: I will post them on the site here in a month or two when I get sorted out down in ...

Re: It seems I am in the minority....

It seems I am in the minority here but any lizard fish or catfish that finds its way into my boat is going to have a VERY bad day! Well, you would be in the minority around me. What little damage you put on the catfish/lizardfish population by killing one or a dozen and one is not going make even t...
