St marks bait

Hey gang,
We are going to be in Tally for Thanksgiving and thought we might try and take kids fishing out of st marks. Is there any bait still around? Porgies, Sand perch, etc.

If anyone wants to trade for some deeper bait spots I can reciprocate with the #'s in steinhatchee or cedar key.

Have a ...

Re: safety inspection

After a quick google search I found a site for the St. Marks Coast Guard Aux. (but not for Shell Point) at http://www.uscgaux.net/info.html and then sent a message requesting a safety inspection. My wife will be pleased (and that can lead to good things).

They will also give you a free tow in if ...

Operator headroom is very likely :hammer: , but it ran fine up to that point and I had been taking it out everyday or every third day. A guy on the FS forum said he thought might be the Stator Assembly. Any chance it could be that? Thanks for the help.

Engines Problems

My buddy has been gracious enought to let me borrow his whaler this fall do a little fishin. The 1985 Envinrude 90 hp ran great the first couple of times that I used it but had a little bit of a "Tinny" sound to it. About a month ago I took it out on a Saturday and it ran great all morning. Came ...

Rub Rail

Does anyone know to repair a rub rail or who to go to have one repaired? I have a section on my whaler that is bowed out and the white plastic strip hangs down. I've been unsuccessful in getting the rivets to pop back in.:hammer:

Teacher's Planning Day - St. Mark

My daughter had the day off from kindergarten so we headed down to St. Marks for some father daughter time. I'm not to familiar with the area, but we started our drifts east of the lighthouse in front of an old channel maker. It was non-stop trout from 11:00 until we left at 1:00. A myriad of 14 ...
