Econfina 12/19
Fished a creek mouth east of the Econfina today. End of out going to beginning of incoming. Five slot reds, 8 keeper trout and all the short trout we could stand. Most on live shrimp but white and green DOA's caught quite a few trout. Beautiful calm day, most fish I've caught in a long time. Nice !

Macks
Fished the mouth of the Ochlocknee Sunday. Macks were tearing it up in the channel just outside the oyster bars just before low tide. Landed one large mack and emptied the tackle box of spoons and gotcha's.

I have a Perception, Keowee 2 that might be a good boat for a large person. It's a 2 person kayak so it can handle the weight. It also has a large opening which makes it easy to get in and out of. The front seat is removable which leaves room for lot's of gear. You do have to be aware of tides and ...
Crabbing
Is the Fall a good time for blue crabbing? I've crabbed off and on over the years but I can't remember crabbing in the Fall. My wife isn't a big fish eater and I only went scalloping once this summer so a batch of crabs would go over great. Also she makes the worlds best crab cakes. I've had decent ...
