Definately won't ever see me claim to have anything to do with the British. Don't have a problem with em, but all my European ancestors are from Germany and came over well before the Civil War. I'd probably get kicked out of the GOB's club if I claimed English Aristocracy in my blood. :smt023 Nathan

Your welcome to see it anytime. I'm on W Pensacola St. here in Tallahassee. Applying finish to a 7', 6-12#, Rainshadow spinning rod for myself right now. Haven't done a whole lot of building since moving over here in August, but plan to change that between now and Christmas. Have several Christmas g...

Thought you might be messin with him. I built about 20 rods on a home made set of V stands with a thread tensioner made out of 1x4 before I bought my wrapper. Would probably still be using the home made stuff if it wasn't for an excellent deal I got. Still use the original V stands with a home made ...

It's looking like it's gonna be dead low in the morning. I'm probably gonna hit Wakulla Beach about noon and hope their's some water by then. High tide is around 3:30 so their should be enough to paddle. I'm not any help on reds though. The few I catch are always bycatch while trout fishing. Never h...

Here's another site with some good kayak reviews http://www.paddlezone.net. If I had a place to keep my other kayak here in Tallahassee i'd bring it over and let whoever use it to give kayak fishing a try. My 15.5' Bimini already has my living room pretty well maxed out on capacity.

On loading and carrying kayaks bulk is the main problem with them. The base weight of my Bimini was over 70# and after installing rod holder bases, gps holder, and other fixed accessories I suspect it weighs well over 80#. My rack at home for my two kayaks is lengths of 2x6 nailed up on exposed stud...

Looks like I need to pay closer attention to topic titles. Slow to chime in, but yeah I fish from a Perception Bimini 15. I bought it back at the beginning of the summer and have only been able to get about a dozen trips out on it due to being too busy. It is probably a tad slower than the Tarpon 16...
