Any of those would be good, but I used to fish out of Steinhatchee a good bit for grouper. I don't offshore much anymore, but if your run SW out of Steinhatchee until you are almost due west of Horseshoe Beach there is good live bottom that I've worked on the grouper before.

Cudas under 20lb are usually ok to eat. However, above that a fishery biologist told me that get a very high mercury level and shouldn't be eaten. Personally, I've never tried one.

Well, I'm sitting here near Lanark on the coast and the storm surge is up and the winds are very strong and steady, but nothing worse than a bad thunderstorm, except it doesn't end.

How about the county park at the former Island View motel site on 98? Lot closer and good opportunities with a nice pier. I'd load 'em up with shrimp with popping corks and have at it.
