Re: WEEKEND INSHORE WEATHER
The specific location (ie your inshore) forecasts are not accurate. The most accurate, if we can call a NOAA forecast accurate, is the out 20NM region ones. With the exception of shelter from a certain wind direction inshore, the winds are usually the same whether offshore or inshore. The notorious ...

You want the 115HO not the 130. It's pretty much the same in power but the 115HO has an improved foot.
I think the only downside is you cannot set the HO to the less oil (xd-100 only) mode, but I'm not 100% sure.

If they are anything like those Strike King 3x plastics they can be a real pain to rig effectively.

I know the spot, I guess I haven't been by since the TS. Sucks for the houses there but that's gonna be a killer fishing spot when it finally has a big river running through it.

Re: Ecoffeeina
I fear there has been a great deal of sea grass damage. I fished Alligator Point last week and dead seagrass was everwhere. I could not throw top water as it collected on the lures, I could not bounce anything off the bottom as it would collect clumps of grass. I could not keep a shrimp under a cor...

Re: What's YOUR perfect boat ?
No such thing as a perfect boat, even for myself. My 3rd is being built, and it was not an easy decision. I'm a 90% of the time fly fisherman so that makes things even more difficult. Finding a stealthy, clean rigged custom boat that can also do family duty is really tough. I've lost track of the bo...

Re: NFGFC Tourny boat sunk
We ran the shoreline back toward the Carrabelle River and cut through the small creek that runs North of the island and connects to the river. I am not sure I would have made it back to the river mouth if I would not have been able to run that creek. Been there, done that. What kind of boat do you ...

Re: Custom canvas boat cover recommendations.
Thanks Dave, I'm going with an East Cape Vantage by the way, the Young and Egret are just a little too much boat for what I do. Actually the Young is a bay boat, not a flats boat even though they have a flats boat layout for one model.

Custom canvas boat cover recommendations.
I need one fitted for a boat, do we have any good custom canvas shops around?
