Water conditions and fish biting

Need some info. Could anyone please tell me how fishing conditions are from the Fort at St. Marks to the lighthouse. Is the water messed up? Is anyone catching fish since those rains? Thanks very much!

Panacea bay area

Last week decided to try Panacea for a change. I was very glad I did. Had not fished the bay area around oyster bars in a long time. I got a limit of 5 trout and Redfish with a little searching. White Gulp Flukes worked best and the low falling tide was the key......heading back as soon as possible.

Water Clarity for St.Marks to Econfina

Planning on going fishing for trout between St Marks and Econfina. Has all that rain clouded the water or is it still fairly clear? Thanks for any info.

Re: Poll: Has flats fishing gotten worse over the years?

Yes, I think it is worse. I wish the state would change the size limit. There is too many large brood fish being kept, they should lower the size limit from 13" to 17". This size eats better anyway.
