I’ve been here for a month and inshore has been consistent. Offshore has been hit and miss unless your in for 6 hour round trip boat ride.

Carrabelle Mixed Bag

Fished with Bill and Tonya Bowles off Dog Island and TP shoal. Tonya’s 30” red was our biggest but Bill landed 3’ sharp nose that also put up a great battle. The trout were plentiful but everything was released for another day . My big fish was the 21” trout Best bait was silver dollar pins or fresh...

Carrabelle Red Fish

I took one of my younger master anglers Andy out couple days ago here in Carrabelle. Bite was slow but he did manage this 29’ red. After the fish was netted, got a couple pics and a quick revival and release to fight another day. That 29” was not Andy’s PB, he released a 33” last year . AF4C674B-A17...

Apalach Bay

I’ve had good luck this year trying to get those elusive , hard fighting triple tail dialed in. It involves a lot of runnning and gunning, hence why I ran out of gas last time out. . I always let my guest have first shot at the target, then I’ll throw behind him. We had already boated a coupl...

They say the hotter the summer , the better the triple tail fish’n. I’m still learning, trying to get these guys dialed in. Using a 4/0 circle, fresh dead shrimp, with and without cork. Gas gage has not worked for years, just fill up before taking a long trip out every time. Also have a Helix 9 with Coastmaster and al...
