That front had it really screwed up this past weekend, but it was on fire the weekend before so I'm sure it'll turn back on as soon as the water temp comes back up.

I have the same engine and had exactly the same issue a couple years ago. Replaced the cable from the battery to the starter. Problem solved. My mechanic told me it is a pretty common problem.

WTG :thumbup: :thumbup: ....I hear Cobia can be indicators of bottom structure as well, anyone else heard or seen that to be true in the open water......
Cobia move, but I've definitely found cobia hanging around structure in the spring (late April-early May). Not sure you would ever see a cobe ...

Hate you had boat trouble.

Your friend needs to at least find out about the trim and tilt bypass, so you can raise the motor manually.
