Stopped by there and got some gas. Gave Debra, what I thought was a $100 bill and I turned away talking to another customer and Debra asked me to feel the money I gave her and it was 2 bills!!! Made my weekend!!! Still some honest people around!!

The upper element comes on 1st, when upper t stat is satisfied the lower t stat comes on. Start with upper element since no hot water, if that only gives you partial hot water replace lower. Or replace both while drained but keep in mind the upper t stat has to be satisfied in order for the bottom t...

Used to be an old black man come by the shop selling boiled peanuts. Said he boiled a ham hock in with the peanuts. I've found that the longer they soak the saltier they become and if too salty change water and soak until you get them right for your taste.

I've heard 'rumors' from older fishermen that once you found a rocky spot you could drop a line with several leaders baited with cotton with no hooks and catch black bass all day. I've never tried it before but I have pulled them up 2 at a time on a single bait!! Just sayin!! :D

Lowes carries 'CritterRidder' it's a pepper based granule or liquid form that has worked for me in the past. It won't kill the critters but they can't handle the pepper.

This happened to me a couple of months ago at K tower. Had a nice aj up to the boat and all of a sudden a huge goliath came out from under the boat and inhaled the aj. Lost a good fish but gained an even better story!!
