Appalachicola again!!!!!!
Man, what a trip. My Brother-in-law(Haven) and I left Bay City at around 7:00 a.m. on Friday and was making bait shortly after 7:30. Got to our fishing spot around 8:30 and it wasn’t very productive. Stayed with them though and finally Haven hauls in a 22 lb. red-grouper. That was it for a while ...

Do know where O tower is. Fished there a little last year. Also fish around C tower and a spot about 15-20 miles south of there. Depth of dive is whatever it is, as long as vis is descent. Learned to dive in the quarries and inland lakes around here, like diving in a mudhole. That got old in a hurry ...

Wanting to go.
I have a place on SGI and a new 29cc Twin Vee. Would certainly like to hook up some people to go diving with and possibly some spearfishing. Have been fishing the area for a while but haven't seen much diving. Not sure of the best places or times.

We fished offshore there on the 22 & 23rd. Seas were forcasted at 2-3' but were easily 5-6'. We took a beating but caught the fish. We stayed at Bay City Lodge and had a real good time. We fished in 100-110' of water. Cut bait was the ticket. We had red-grouper, red-snapper, mangrove-snapper and ...

St.George Trip
Had a wonderful time for the last 2 weeks at St.George. Went fishing almost everyday and caught fish for the most part. Offshore was my go-to place. The towers and reefs were giving up a lot of grouper and snapper. Brought in about a 250 lb. shark(45 min.). Seas were very pleasant except for 1. Love ...

Anyone for the Last of June?
Am going to be staying on St.George the last week of June and the 1st week of July. Will have my boat and wondered if anyone from that area wanted to fish. Would like to do some inshore and offshore fishing. Have a 24" Everglades with a 250 Verado.
Let me know.

I agree with that pennfish. I don't care much being tossed around like a tennis ball. I've been to St.George 3 times I think in the last 30 years. Have never been able to fish when I was there. It would be ashamed if it becomes commercial and overcrowded. I will contact you before we come down and ...

Legitimate question pennfish, I grew up on Jekyll Island but have lived in the same place now for about 30 years. I have owned several boats and have never been afraid of a challenge. I don't mind pushing it to the limit but not exceeding it. I don't run from rough water but will always be safe and ...
