Can anyone tell me where there is a Windows program that will convert loran to lat/lon that won't cost an arm and a leg? The ramp at the Shell Point marina is closed and the drive way is blocked off. The status of the place is unknown as it is in receivership I believe.

For most of the weekemd, which was three days for me I thought I was down in the islands instead of Oyster Bay. Slight breezes, warm sun and cold beer. The flat water at night made floundering real nice, but didn't see any. I spent a lot of time on the cell phone calling friends and family up north...

This may not work for everyone, but I have used a car iner tube. Get an ice chest that will fit in the tube and then blow it up. I'm sorry I made it sound like wheel chairs only. That's not the case. Anyone handicapped so a hull boat won't work is welcome.
