Do dolphin (flipper variety) have an adverse effect on the fishing?
I would have thought they scared the fish away.

I have seen them herding redfish in to the shallows in the ICW at Jax and catching and throwing mullet in the air at St.Augustine also in the ICW.

Jere, that sounds like a great plan, I envy you, fishing out of your front door and following the sun.
Doesn,t get a lot better than that.

I must go and buy some more lottery tickets.

Jere, You would certainly need to get a lot of use out of a boat that size.
The initial investment and ongoing running costs would be high.
That doesn,t look a cheap boat to own.

Nice though, very,very nice.
I guess we just keep on buying the Lottery tickets.

Thank you for posting a picture Tom,

Thats a nice boat, overall size and appearance is very similar to a UK offshore charter boat.
In the report of his journey, I assumed we were talking of a reasonably substantial craft.

OD, I have made some progress since that last post.
I am practising sizing my photos before I put them up on the fishingworks site.
All tests have been OK so far.
Just need some decent pics to post for public consumption.

Thanks for the website Dewey, I have added it to "My Favourites". I asked the question as a lot of the fish I had seen were obviously dead. I have seen televised bass tournaments (on satellite) where they keep the fish alive for the weigh-in and then return them. As I believe I have alread...
