Re: Inshore/River fishing: what am I doing wrong?

Creek mouths from Aucilla to Rock island has produced numerous trout and redfish for us recently. Gulp jerk shads and mirrordines has been the ticket. Not a big fan of live bait but it would probably work also.

Re: Aucilla River ramp?

JR from the Aucilla River Store said the ramp was fine. He used it Saturday and the floating dock on the gulf side was hung up on the pilings and that was Saturday (probably fixed now) but the other side was good to go.

RIP Randle. You will be missed. A lifelong mentor to the Bass Boys. He took me and Jeff out of bass fishing 20 years ago and introduced to trout fishing. A true legend in our area.

Big Bend Marine in Perry Fl. is the closest retailer I think. Are you looking for a new one or used?

Re: Inshore boat review?

While I may be partial to sea-ark since I bought mine 3 years ago I will say I have never owned a better built metal boat then the ark. I've owned a G-3 and a mon-ark over the years the sea-ark is hands down just a better boat (built like a barge) but still floats very shallow. My brother and Steve ...

Re: Take the boat or no?

Carrabelle city ramp or Timber Island would be your best bet. There's a nice ramp on the island at the foot of the bridge but you would still have to run east or west a ways  to the cut to get to the beach side.
