Re: Wacissa River water going to Nestle?
I was ready to start holding a picket sign, until Georgia mentioned quiet and airboats in the same paragraph. Can I hold 2 picket signs at the same time?
Re: Rule #1
On windy days I always try to choose a landing where I can paddle/peddle out into the wind. It sure makes the return trip back much more enjoyable.

Re: Red Trout Shootout - Oct 23rd
For a second year, no way for kayakers to participate! 2 fish, One Red one Trout. I dont think it matters what you catch it out of. You may find a few kayakers who are man enough to take 4(fishermen) against 1(kayaker) odds and put up $125 by themselves. Me? I think I'll just enjoy a day of fishing...

Try http://www.fcka.net and click on launches. Most kayak launches would also be appropriate for wade fishing.

Re: Where Do You Stand: Possible Changes Florida's Redfish R
One when it's just my family. Two, when company is coming over. Zero when the freezer has a few. I hope the folks on this board don't need a limit, since we go fishing all the time. For the rest, I'll leave it to the "Experts". Do what's best for the fishery. After all, redfish are predato...

Re: Catching flounder
I have hung a few here and there fishing for reds with a spinnerbait. I read an article the other day that said use the same size spinner as for reds but change out the grub for a smaller bucktail jig and fish at near the bottom. Thanks Crocker, I'll give this a try next time out. I'm getting close...

I fished from my yak yesterday in that same general direction. The topwater bite was very good from 6 - 8 am in very shallow(oyster bars).

Re: Looking for info on East Choctawhatchee Bay

Re: hello all
Welcome. Be sure and check out www.fcka.net also. That site is specific to kayak fishing.
I frequent Montgomery, would you know of a kayak fishing site for there?
