Re: Keep hand sanitizer on the boat and use it!

Great advice. A couple of years ago I got the bright idea to eat a gar. So, I did. I never even saw a cut, but it cost me a doctors visit after my hand swelled up about twice its normal size. Also if you don’t remember when your last tenatus shot was be sure to get one on your next doctors visit. Tr...

Re: 2018 Rock The Dock

Cotton, I respect your position, but I kayak fish this tournament to feed my high school track team, whether I win or lose! Thanks Gary, its sucks sticking to my beliefs about trophy fish. I even thought about fishing exclusively for redfish just so I don’t get left out. Oh well, maybe next year.

2018 Rock The Dock

If they ever make the kayak division catch, photo & release like 99.9% of all other kayak tournaments I’m all in. Until then, I’ll just be jealous of those that do.

Good luck to everyone!!!

Re: Where to get out of the wind?

Sun n Sand ramp should work with that wind direction.

Also, Wakulla beach if you head East early. There are several creeks and you’ll blow back to the landing.

Re: My last hurrah at St Marks

I’m so jealous. My family moved to North MO 40 years ago. They loved it so much they never returned. A lot of what they loved was the outdoors. In MO they have a 1/8% sales tax that goes to their conservation department. You won’t find a ditch on public land that doesn’t have a small stocked pond or...

Unfair lures smackpaddle in hot orange or charteuse. Like Zman, one will last you all day.

I hear bigger models of their soft plastics are coming out soon. I can’t wait.

This is Awesome!!! That little girl can really fish. So glad we will still be seeing her out there in a yak. I can’t imagine how happy you made them.

I’ll pass this along.

Lost Hobie Outback

Posting for a friend: Had a friend from Moody AFB (active duty) camp out on Rock Island Saturday night with a couple of friends. When they woke up the next morning, his dune Hobie Outback was gone. Assume the high overnight tide drifted it off. Had some fishing gear in it as well as his fishing lice...

Re: Are fishing regulations and enforcement, out of control?

Give me more, not less, FWC on the water. Fishing from a kayak every weekend, I only get to chat with FWC about once a year. Unless your breaking the law or FWC is rude you shouldn’t mind. They also give good fishing tips. Lol I had a wierd encounter a few weeks ago. I got back to the launch and sta...

Re: Snook in local water!?

If any of you have caught one in the last week or so message me, might put your picture in the paper. I caught 2 the same weekend as Gary. Oct 14. Been out looking for them almost every weekend since and haven’t found another. I sent you a pm with a few photos. Being alone on a kayak the pics suck....

New Regulations on limits

[quote="One Keeper"]Close Feb. lower limit to 4 (15-20" and no over 20" allowed)[quote]

I would support this.
