Econfina 10.15.17
Ran East. Stayed on the grass line. Water was 80deg. S. Load of bait and arm-sized mullet everywhere. Bagged six of these and a fat trout. Almost all on topwater. Felt like we should have had more action early. Nothing huge. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171016/da652e840fd74c951e79021994777211....

Re: Boat Cover Suggestions
NECRO BUMP!
Anyone making covers locally? My baby might need to move outdoors and I am interested in picking up a cover. Choosing between Academy, semi-custom and a true custom right now.
I am going to get a quote from Covertime in Tallahassee. Anyone else local that I should be talking to?

Re: Vortex Viper 4-12 x 40 rifle scope
I guess I should mention that the scope has lived its entire live atop a .308Win Weatherby Vanguard (heavy) and hasn't been subjected to extensive or sharp recoil. https://www.dropbox.com/s/l1tkmuxu37ay8wt/2013-11-17%2009.20.08.jpg?raw=1 Here is how it looks now: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2mrdm0e1kw...

Vortex Viper 4-12 x 40 rifle scope = TRADED
For sale is a one-owner Vortex Viper 4-12 x 40 rifle scope. It has the Dead-Hold BDC reticle. Probably less than 150 rounds down range with this scope. It's about 4 seasons old. I have original box and paperwork as well. Nothing wrong with it - I went with an illuminated reticle scope. I have a pair...

Purchase a "condo stand"?
Looking for places to shop for pre-made elevated box stands as an alternative to building another one from scratch... Thinking about a hard box stand on top of at least 10' elevation platform. I know I've driven by businesses which have them out front. I just can't remember where any of them were. W...

I have also experienced a straightened/broken Gamakatsu while bottom fishing offshore. This was a few years ago.

Re: PANFISH
Great information guys! I am trying to get my son into the sport via panfishing.
Is there any place to buy crickets or other live panfish bait in Leon County, North of Apalachee Parkway?

Rod/reel for 3.5-year-old?
BBF dads - any recommendation on a rod/reel combo for a 3.5 year-old? I took Jr. to the lake today and he couldn't cast the float/splitshot/cricket setup with his POS Spiderman combo from Wal Mart. Time to take the next step I guess. I think I remember reading on here that Zebco 808 is the winner. W...

Re: Marine Electronics Install Guy?
Shout out to Phimar Marine (850.251.1596) who finished a very clean, low-drag install job on a large, new Garmin within the limited dash space available.

Re: Raymarine?
Well after 6 or 7 weeks of turmoil I went back with a Garmin. At least on the Dragonfly line from Raymarine - they're not suitable for primary marine GPS use. Raymarine will admit that when you call them (because the unit won't read your card) and ask them why the GPS won't automatically leave a bre...
