Re: Sign the Pledge
From Webster's Dictionary, first definition... DEMOCRACY. A government by the people, especially: rule of the majority. REPUBLIC. A government having a chief of state who is not a monarch and who in modern times is usually a president. BTW, I have no party affiliation, due to an allergic reaction t...

Re: Sign the Pledge
I voted no on the gill net ban because it was an amendment. If I had been on the Fisheries Commission (or whoever oversees) I would have voted to ban or severely limit them. I also voted no on the pig crate amendment, class size, bullet train and all the other stupid shiz that is put on the ballot. ...

Nice job!
Especially with a north wind!. If you go to Piney Island make sure it's on an incoming tide. It gets dry pretty fast.

Kaku Voodoo. Check those out online. The seat is crazy comfortable and easy to stand from. It is a heavy model, so it would be hard to drag it very far. I loaded it into to my mule one handed when I had a hook in on finger though. Not easy, but I did it just fine. It checks all your boxes and you ar...

Wish I could have been on that hunt! Oh wait.......I was! I recognize Chris's 4 wheeler! LOL That was an awesome hunt - great lunch, great fellowship. We cleaned the ones not taken home after y'all left. Did not take too long. I need a dog! My old man would have given out. He is a year older than Ru...

Re: Dove shoots
I have hunted Joe Budd and Appalachee. Have had some quality shoots. You just have to scout and only go if the birds are there. If they are, expect company.

Thanks!
Xpress H22B. Rode in one with SaltyGator on a trip we were taken on by drug rep (it was a tunnel version). Liked it and a more family friendly ride than my current one. Can just comfortably take more folks and still be a fishing boat.

Re: Does your boat have a name?
One of my favorite boat names was someone local (can't recall who) was big into duck hunting the coast. They built a Barnegat Bay style boat to hunt the ducks (lots of buffleheads or "buffies"). They named the boat "Vampire, the Buffy Slayer".

Re: A few days off-funny eventful trip
Billy: I ran it under cold tap water for a few minutes before I snatched it out. It hurt a bit, but not at all unbearable. Just a quick pain. If I had dikes and pliers on the yak, I could have kept fishing. I was just afraid to snatch it out and wind up with the other treble in another location! :o ...

A few days off-funny eventful trip
Had a few days off. First day just paddled and looked around. Was with my nephew and SIL and they just wanted a paddle trip. Returned at daylight the next day. Caught a keeper trout on top right away. Glass calm but storm clouds all around. Next was a keeper red on top. He gave a nice fight and I bo...
