Re: Fishing this weekend Nov 21 -22 near St marks
Thanks for the info! We caught 4 keeper trout Saturday, one on the first cast before low tide and 3 more as the tide was running in. I explored some areas new to me from Big Pass to Johns Island. I will be back in that area soon to explore more.

Fishing this weekend Nov 21 -22 near St marks
I need some expert advise about fishing this weekend (Nov 21 - 22). I have struck out for the past several months only to hear that others have been successful in other areas. I have spent the last few trips in the East river near the lighthouse thinking the colder water would hold fish there only t...

Re: Success at St Marks
A friend of mine went Saturday near the rocks in 6 to 7' of water and he said the bite was awesome right before high tide. It seems like I'm always going to the wrong spot.

Re: Aucilla and Econfina Rivers
My plans changed and I didn't go that far east. I should have gone that direction because I didn't catch anything in the mouth of the river near the lighthouse.

When the wife says “you should go get in the stand” the only answer is yes ma'am! Nice buck! He looks to be pretty old from the pics.

Looks good! I was testing an iPad for Navionics, but it didn't have cellular service and won't track the location.

I was in a 17' Sea Hunt with my friend. We didn't get there until after 1 and tried to fish the incoming tide near Rock Island.mpa_72001 wrote:ropeman what were you in saturday we were out there saturday around that way just after daylight til about noon..

Great report! I went out that way on Saturday and we had a few good bites but none stayed on the hook. I guess the high pressure Friday night changed the bite considerably.

Mercury outboard motors for parts GONE
I know a guy who bought several old Mercs to rebuild an antique boat. He has three left over and needs to get them out of the way soon. I was going to take them t the scrap yard, but wondered if anyone here would want them. I don't have any specifics on any of them yet.

I'm glad somebody is catching them! That smallest red looks just the same copper color as the one my girlfriend caught in Econfina. The most beautiful red I've ever seen!silverking wrote:Excellent trip and report. The coloring of those fish tell the tale of the water clarity lately.
