Re: Towing Vehicles

I have no plans to replace my F150. I was just intrigued by that little diesel V6. My truck pulls it like a champ

Re: Towing Vehicles

I don't know a lot about diesels, but I think they usually get better gas mileage. It also cost .25/gallon more and the diesel option cost about $5k from the factory. Those points aside, you should be doing better than 11. I get ~13 mpg towing a 22' Ranger or 14-15 mPG towing an 18' aluminum boat w...

Towing Vehicles

I am a Ford guy. I have been towing with F150s for many years. I started using the 3.5 Ecoboost in 2012 and I have owned 3 different trucks with that motor. I have been absolutely pleased with the power the motor delivers. Thousands of towing miles and it has been wonderful. The only complaint I hav...

Re: Econfina or Keaton Beach?

I had similar luck in steinhatchee, fished two days and it only had two bluefish to show for it. Fished creeks, Creek mouths, oyster bars, the river, the flats, 1ft all the way to 20ft with not even a seabass to show for it. Wind and waves forecast was off as usual. I agree with you. It was ROUGH F...

Re: Econfina or Keaton Beach?

Same here, we tried live bait, gulp and plugs and even some cut bait. They didn't want anything. We fished from 2feet to 10 feet

Re: Econfina or Keaton Beach?

I fished Keaton today....it was the slowest that I've ever seen and it looked like it would be a perfect day. There were about 8 boats in line at the ramp and there were very few fish caught.
