Re: Last Post On This Site
Yup, the place got a little off kilter, myself included, but it's a loss to all of us when we lose a knowledgeable old school member like CSMarine. I hope he decides to come back.

I'm not sure we need a toddler to babysit. Guess someone magically made you King of the Fishing Forum and Name Caller in Chief. I can only imaging your Ford with this on the chrome bumper - seeing as how accepting you seem to be. https://miro.medium.com/max/427/1*toxH9U78jPp_iPFTn4cGfg.png Lol, its...

Southern Gent, We all really hope you stick around. We need someone that makes it easy for us to take out our frustrations on. You are really putting a target on your back. Do you actually fish? Actually, with all of the friction from the coronis and the general laid back nature of this forum, I'm ...

Same, sans the cane syrup. Not quite as picky either on when I eat them.

I would try a different tank and hose before digging into the power pack. I'm sure you could borrow one for a quick test.

Re: Wakulla County Tripling Launch Fees To Non-Residents
There weren't even any pay envelopes at Rock Landing. I wrapped a $5 bill in a note with my tag number, because i appreciate that they aren't being fishing nazis. Yeah, staff has been limited due to COVID-19. Thanks for being honest and putting the money in the till. If you are gonna fish the Wakul...

Re: Did anyone from GA get told to go home this weekend?
Access to a boat ramp is not a "constitutional right" as has been claimed numerous times here over the past few weeks. Kind of hilarious that actually needs to be said out loud. Whether or not there is discrimination happening with regards to who is or is not being allowed to utilize ramp...

Re: Carrabelle closes boat ramps to all non resident
Were in a pandemic and: – SouthernPointe is googling obscure state grant & ramp use rules that aren't gonna help you launch a boat in the coming weeks. – FIsh Masterson is our self proclaimed legal scholar & master of insults – FIsh Masterson & Red are ready to meet up and fight it out....

Also battery park in apalach. I'm certain a little more digging would show grants for several more as the records on the website only go back about 6yrs.

Re: Did anyone from GA get told to go home this weekend?
Some of the ramblings on here about the "illegal" actions of closing boat ramps are just insane. It sucks, but it's well within the purview of whichever controlling jurisdiction is at play to shut down public access facilities for any number of reasons. Renovations, cleaning, public safet...

Curious about what prompted the lanark decision. That local sheriff is acting a bit militant about this situation, and i could almost see him twisting their arms over the issue.

Re: Carrabelle closes boat ramps to all non resident
What is there to disagree on? The grants and terms of those grants are public record. Those in charge have put the city and county in a bad spot. It's not debatable. Only question is how much it will cost them. This is why taylor County shut them down to everyone. They received the same grants and d...

Re: Carrabelle closes boat ramps to all non resident
The problem is that they left it open for themselves only. I would be willing to bet state or federal money has been spent on most of these ramps. That would make this an illegal act, and given that fishing was explicitly labeled an essential act, a thumb in the eye of everyone that floods money in...
