I'm assuming they were referring to the area between the islands, but I don't know for sure. Everyone has their own little terms that use to refer to stuff, lol

I'm not sure about St. George, but I was told by a fisherman at Bass Pro Shops that they've been having a lot of success with pompano at the cut on Dog Island.
