Going for trout and reds in the bay. Any lures or colors that get more action than others?

Made it down to st. george and ended up driving over to st joe and putting in there and got the limit on scallops in no time and my son catch is first redfish followed by two more that he caught, was a great day out on the water, thanks all

Thanks for the input, im bringing my 14 foot boat and hope to do some fishing in the bay at the st park ramp, went there last year and a little luck. Was planning on driving over to lanark to try and get some scallops.

Im heading down there as well on sunday and would any input as well, on fishing and scallops.

I want to know what is going on to, went a few weeks ago and did great, brother inlaw went last weekend and did great, i went today and fishing for over 7 hours with only 5 fish landed. 3 nice trout 1 lady fish and 1 catfish, no other bites or fish to be had, we fished shallow deep incoming outgoing...
