Re: Take a Kid Fishing - Being Revived

I'm in. Steve, you have my number. I have an annual pass at St. Mark's so launching at the lighthouse would be more convenient for me but I'm open to launching anywhere.

I'll be picking up a new to me McKee Craft 1800 dual console on Saturday. I'll have electronics in her by the time we go.

1993 Maxum 1700 bow rider - 115 mercruiser

Everything works as it should except the trim gauge. Interior is all there and is fading a little but still in very good shape for it's age. Always stored inside a boathouse in freshwater or under a carport, always stored nose up and plug out. She's been in central Alabama in fresh water until June ...

Re: Suggested Bait for Local Lakes Catfishing

A large bream head has generally been the best big catfish bait for me. Little pieces of hot dog works best in the marina I used to live in. I c...

Re: Opening Day For Grouper Season

The direction of the waves from the south is what made it hard to get to on saturday. It was easier to run east or west or north. The size of my little boat limits my nearshore runs if it's past about 2'-3'.

I also think the reefs I was talking about would really be classified as nearshore.

Re: St. Marks report

I emailed the company that made my chum churn knockoff (Chumbuddy) and sent them a link to a couple of videos I made on the day I lost the top and plunger. I was not looking for anything for free, just inquiring as to how to get the missing parts. They were so nice and they pointed out that most fol...
