Sounds like you caught some quality fish. I take it you were in pretty shallow? Too windy to try top waters?

Nice report and congrats on the 2nd place finish. We gave it a try on Saturday but it sounds like we were fishing too deep (6-7). We found lots of shorts but it appears the quality fish were up tight. Would have been better than being toused around by the wind in the pm anyhow.

Sounds like you had a good trip, particularly those that were able to sleep during the ride. Wish I could do that on some rides home. We had a similar experience last week. Lots of bait fish, but not a lot chasing after them. I would think it's only a matter of time until they catch up to em and mov...
