Help my thread has been hijacked. How about we pick a channel for forum members to monitor? Say lucky #7 or some thing.

:-D Do any of you monitor it while fishing? And if you do what channel? I know 16 is the coastguard channel but what does everyone else use. Kind of like 19 on a CB is the most popular channel. The question that I'm surprised nobody has asked is why? Sure the boat won't sink, but how long can you hang on to a capsized boat! To many things can go wrong.

What is the deal with the yellow gloves I have been seing in all the pictures lately? Are they better for the fish if you plan to release them, or is it just to keep from having to touch them? Just wondering I have never used any.

Those Fish-n-Ski's are great flats boats. My buddy had one and I told him not to sell it, but he did anyway and regrets it.

I know right where you are Welby. What kind of boat you fish out of? I got a K16 Sundance with a 25 Nissan on it. I fish all day on 6 gal, unless I run to Spring Warrior.

Did you try jigs and grubs? They usually out do the shrimp.
