I usually get reel parts from the tackle trap but since they have moved I haven't gotten as much from them. Though I do get a bunch of stuff through plats in Japan for daiwas.

I have never thought to apply wax to a rod either, I do seal my cork, do you leave the wax on there and let it come off ...

Unless it's in the sales section, that seems to get more traction than reports. But there are a ton of views on the posts that get posted.

Well good news is trial 1 is planted, #2 will be next week, and the last 2 should be right behind it and I think to celebrate I'm going to put in at mash sands and run to k tower.

I have some of those jigs myself, ordering them direct from Japan is much cheaper.

Ike jime is intriguing to me but I've heard it wasn't worth the work.
