Re: Need Help Quick (Econfina)
Try calling the people that run both of the campgrounds. Some people may rent their campers out.

Re: Good areas for a novice "captain"
I rode by that place once, about 2 years ago. As i recall, the water was moving pretty swiftly at the ramp. It might make loading up a challenge for a novice boater. Can't help with the river though as I've never been on it.

Yes, they are plentiful right now. Not sure if they are 12 hours worth of pretty though.

Re: Registering a kayak W/O a bill of sale
Honestly, there isn't a serial number or paper trail on a kayak. Just write your own bill of sale up and get it registered. They aren't going to investigate it. Either that or go the homemade route, which may be easier. All of my trailers are homemade.

Yea, I just looked it up. It did say that homemade vessels under a certain length don't need to be inspected, so you could apply for a homemade vessel registration.

Almost positive that you don't need to register a vessel for an electric trolling motor.
I believe that it has to be over 5hp and gas before a need to register.

Re: Carpet in a G3 Boat
I used regular indoor outdoor from lowes and used the carpet glue from there as well. It's held up nicely and can't remember for sure how many years ago i did it, but its been quite a few. I wouldn't recommend if you don't have a shed or something to park under though. Birds eye view from earlier th...
Re: Nice rig
Unfortunately i was perched up on a balcony near the end of walkers creek working on a new construction house. Kinda stinks watching all of the vessels cruise by, but still a better view than most places i work.
Re: Nice rig
After quite an extensive investigation that would have left Sherlock Holmes envious, I located the vessel tied to a dock adjacent to where I took the above picture. Logic says he had the boat redone from stem to stern, and my hopes of a giveaway have been dashed.
