CS, Yeah I saw the thread a few monthes back but unfortunatley I had already purchased it. I guess I had bought it about a month before that thread, which is why I said that ya'll are startin to scare me. So far it has worked fine, but I have since learned about the different shaft materials and als...

So far so good, but wonderin if I should be wearin some protective gear when I operate it? From all the negative comments I hear, I'm wonderin if it might '...

Seems to me that once you got her all shined up, you could give her a good waxin, at least everywhere 'cept the deck, and she would clean up easier in the future.

I can't speak for AJ, but when I went a few weeks ago, we caught most of ours in 4-6 feet, over grass, fairly close to the island. I also caught several nice fish on top water, and some on a CT with a 24-30" leader.

Hi, AJ, I was over that way about two weeks ago, and did reasonably well also. I fished over behind little St. George, and half way between the cut and the bridge. The first day I caught a limit with big fish being 20 on the nose and on the second day I caught three keepers with one being 24 inches,...

I had the perfect day!!!!!

I was on fire, I didn't miss a fish all day! Started out the day kinda late, so I figured I would give Ole Ickneefina a try since I haven't been out there in a while. The water was smooth as glass when I put in, around 10'ish, so I told myself that I would just head east until I found some clear wat...

If the grass is seeming worse this year than most, I wonder if the prolonged presence of the dark water is blocking the sunlight enough to cause the grass to start dying off.

Yes Sir, I would definately go with a 10-12 footer, and a lot of lead, at least 4-6 ounces, maybe more. I have a couple of settups, one is a 10 foot, the other a 12, but they have Penn GTI's, and they do really well. I think I can sling those things a mile.

Help with handheld VHF

I recently aquired an APELCO VXL501 handheld vhf radio, but I did not get a charger with it. I haven't been able to find one so far, and was wondering if any one out there might be familar with this company, or have any other suggestions for me.

Troutcatcher, I posted that the boat was sold in the title bar and in the first post up above. Sorry, but it is gone. And as far as Airboat king, he's not a dealer, just an enthusiast.
