Any reports on damage at St. Marks? Shell Island Fish Camp/Sheilds/Light House Landing? Is it worth tryin to go fishing on Monday or is there too much fresh water in flats or can you even launch a boat to get out there?

Made it out Sunday with my 10 yr and one of his buddies. We were out of landing by 7 and decided to try fishing. Really nice ride out, when we got in 8-10 ft the wind and seas picked up pretty good. Scalloping has been good, but I have not been in 2 weeks. Just East of Grey Mare rock in 3-5 feet of water-look for the boats. Probably want be as crowded as has been.
We have been catching a few keeper trout in 8-10 ft about a mile south of the second pole. good luck.

Nothing like fishin with your Dad and son! Glad to know there are some fish to catch. We have had good luck on scallops too...but fishing has been tough. Hope to see you down there some.

Wish I had scales....just caught Tuesday and released. My 10 year old wanted it to be 10lbs, but I think more like 8.

Headed down for first time-gonna scallop, but have some guys that want to try the trout. Any suggestions on direction , depth. I know what they are doing at St. Marks, but no idea down there? Thanks for any direction?

Good Deal! Now, go get dem scallops. We have had good luck at St Marks. Limits last 4 times we been. Fishing is tough-even in deep water.

Glad you were still able to get after them. We managed a 5 gallon bucket at St. Marks. It was a little slower than last weekend, we had to search a little harder-about 3 hours. My 10 year old would stay out there all day! Hope you get that trailer this week.

I like to put/dice onion,japaleno, and couple dabs of cream cheese on the inside, then roll it up and wrap in bacon-grill til bacon is done. can marinate in a little dales and lemon juice. good eatin!
